After installed the Mobile Connect, just got the Preferences > Network to configure the Huawei Modem, go to Advanced > Vendor: Other Model: HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G Modem, /Library.... Telephone: *99# Account Name: (blank) Password: (blank) Below you will see "Show modem status in menu bar" Just check the enable box. You can connect the modem via menu bar on top next time.
